今回、Page Climbersから新感覚の手提げ型ブックカバー ” Book Carrier " が完成しました。デザインはPOPでライトなギア＆ウェアを提供するブランド " morning snacks " の中河氏によるもの。
バッグ（ブックカバー）の中央に両ブランドのマークもプリントされています。
半透明なPVC素材により、衝撃や雨にも強く、その半透明な素材感で、読んでいる本を見せるのもよし、見せたくない場合はデフォルトのカラーペーパーもしくはお気に入りの絵葉書などで、お気に入りのバッグ型ブックカバーとして愛用いただけます。
素材感や取っ手のこなしは、これぞmourning snacksらしい１品。また、ゴムで本を留める仕様は同中河氏原案のブックカバーfirst stitchで使われたシステムを踏襲。
今回のサイズは、ベーシックな文庫サイズで、主にフィット感を重視したサイズです。
そのため、ハヤカワ文庫は入りませんが、もしSFに没頭したいときは、別の（本の）アウターウェアを着せてあげてくださいね。
さらに、裏面が図書カード（読書カード）になったステッカーもオマケで付いてきます。これもmorning snacksの嬉しいところです。
中河氏の長年培った生産的目線で作られたブックカバー、それをPOPに昇華することで、持つ人を選ばないフラットさを兼ね備えた、侘び寂びの効いた１品となっています。
